Roc Nu is very fragrant, revealing a wide array of aromas such as dark fruit and a wealth of fragrances from the Mediterranean scrubland that surrounds the Clos Pons vineyards in La Pobla de Cervoles, such as rosemary, thyme, and other aromatic herbs- even pine needles- which contribute to creating a wine of great harmony and aromatic richness. On the palate, Roc Nu is extremely rich, complex, and intense, with notes of fruit jam, coffee, cedar, and a distinctive touch of black olive. Its lively acidity and silky texture lead to a round and lingering finish. Roc Nu pairs well with beef, seafood, and poultry.
Fourteen months aging in French oak barrels.
