Description
Uigeadail (pronounced "oog-a-dal") means "dark, mysterious place" in Gaelic.
Ardbeg Uigeadail is a combination of classic Ardbeg matured in ex-bourbon casks and Ardbeg matured in ex-sherry casks. This special vatting of different ages and styles of Ardbeg marries the traditional deep and smoky notes with luscious raisiny, rich spice, and fruity tones of old Sherry casks.
Savor neat, on ice or with water.
It is rich, heady, and smoky. On the nose, one will find an intriguing balance between Christmas cake spices, a smoldering coal fire, pine, oiled leather, and baked banana. On the palate, there is an extraordinary mix of smoked and honey-glazed meat, treacle, and mocha coffee with a rich, oily, and full-mouth feel.
